I’m Jerry Bamke. I started selling fireworks in 2001 when I opened Fireworks Country. Having raised ostriches for ten years , driving truck, and being in the outdoor amusement business , I decided it was time to work at a slower pace.  Being on a main thoroughfare like Hwy 29, I decided to try dabbling in retail sales.  It started out very slow, but sales have picked up very well and it is something we enjoy doing as a family operation.

My wife Sally, my son Tony,  and my nephew Jeff, joined me in the business in 2003 to help carry the load. This is also the year when we began hosting our big fireworks extravaganza. By demonstrating our products at the fireworks extravaganza, it gives our customers a chance to see first hand what they are purchasing.

I’m certain that we will keep growing  because we are able to give our customers so much bang for their buck. We are family-owned .We treat each customer as if they are part of our family. That’s a large part of the success we experience during our fireworks extravaganza.. Everyone feels comfortable here.
